The Guardian ad Litem program provides volunteers who advocate for children who have been abused and/or neglected.  These children have been removed from their homes and the GALs fight in order to establish permanence while honoring the child's sense of time.  Volunteers speak up for the child's best interest and ensure that their voice is heard in court.  Our GAL volunteers come from all walks of life but all have the common goal of serving children and bettering our community!  As one of our volunteers stated: "Why wouldn't you do it if you could???"

 

New Training Starting Soon

For those of you interested in becoming a GAL volunteer, new training classes are forming now. There is currently a critical need for volunteers in all of our counties, please call the office for more information.
